Our Vision is to establish a sustainable and economically viable circular economy, utilizing organic residues and waste materials holistically to produce regenerative green hydrogen and CO₂-neutral synthetic fuels.

The Mission is to make as many waste streams as possible usable as valuable feedstocks, to provide new economic perspectives, enhance quality of life, to make a substantial contribution to achieve the Paris climate goals, to help preserve the planet‘s biodiversity and to significantly contribute to the achievement of the sustainable development goals of the United Nations

Sewage Sludge Problem

Avoidance of sludge spreading on agricultural soil. Instead there will be a pollution-free elimination of the sludge and an alternative, controlled fertilizer production.

The sludge becomes a feedstock for fuels, chemicals and fertilizer.

The technology is suitable for small mobile plants as well as industrial plants without or with digestion tower (witch means also for digester gas).

High particulate emissions / partly SOx emissions

Drastic reduction of emissions (particulates, SOx, NOx) by use of high-quality, clean, CO₂-neutral and zero sulphur fuels, especially for vehicles like cars, taxis, trucks, buses, shunting, loaders, ships, diesel locomotives, aircraft, etc..

Over fertilization / Groundwater hazard

Avoidance of over-fertilization of agricultural soil by excessive, uncontrolled application of manure, digestate and sewage sludge.

Preventing groundwater pollution – particularly by nitrates – by controlled fertilization of agricultural soils.

Uncontrolled disposal of
non-recyclable plastics and waste

Removal of significant volumes of Potential of non-recyclable plastics from the environment for the production of clean, sustainable products like fuels, industrial gases, chemicals and fertilizer.

Transition from simple incineration of waste to the transformation into valuable products to help reaching the climate goals.

Background

In order to shift to a circular economy, waste materials need to be converted into useful products. This means extracting valuable components from organic waste (municipal, domestic, garden, sewage sludge), paper, wood, used lubricants, paints and organic chemicals, thus reducing the amount of waste that is incinerated or disposed on landfills.

Objectives

SYNTHEC FUELS will set up near-zero emission plants to process different kinds of wet and dry organic waste like fermentation residuals or waste wood and even non-recyclable plastic waste into high-quality primary products, such as sustainable hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) or industrial gases, e.g. ammonia allowing mobility and industrial applications with revolutionary low emissions, as well as profitable by-products like fertilizers.

This will reduce the amount of waste incinerated or disposed on landfills, preventing harmful effects on soil, air, climate, groundwater and resources. The SYNTHEC FUELS plants are optimized to meet highest product quality- and emission standards.

BECAUSE WE ONLY HAVE THIS ONE PLANET

It is stipulated in the articles of incorporation of SYNTHEC FUELS that 10% of the profits will be allocated to social and environmental projects in the various locations where Synthec Fuels operates plants, but also to important projects that are not related to the SYNTHEC FUELS operations.

The intention is to the increase the quality of life in emerging countries and to help to create future economic perspectives in regions where qualified jobs and the Livelihoods are limited or virtually none existing.

Further we are focused on the conservation of bio diversity and will support, and also initiate projects that will help to slow down and at best to stop the processes that are ruining our planet.

We practically do this by allocating funds to the respective projects but also by integrating sustainable strategies in our own production processes.
For example we will produce our needed energy via own solar farms that use transparent solar cells under which organic crops and fruits will be grown and animals will be kept taking into account their natural needs. Further we are working with our partners on projects for ecologic aqua farming to help saving the fish populations in the oceans.
The required water for our processes will not be taken from groundwater, but from own desalination plants that are operating with solar energy and the least environmental impact.
As part of this process we are producing 100% microplastic free water that will be used for the ecologic food production, the ecologic aqua farming and to be provided as drinking water for the people living next to our operations.
